"If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or [whether] I speak from myself." — John 7:17 (ASV)

Anyone who is seeking what is right, and striving to do what is right, is a good judge of the truth. A practical life of godliness makes a person a far better critic of what truth is than all the learning of the schools can.
