Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water." — John 7:38 (ASV)
He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
He will not only drink enough to satisfy his own thirst, but he will himself become a fountain; streams of grace shall be communicated to others through him.
Shall flow rivers of living water.
What a glorious gospel sermon that was! It comes to us down through the ages, and is as true now as when Jesus spoke it. Ho, thirsty ones, come to him, and drink; and he will quench your thirst, and create in you a well of living water which shall bubble up for ever and ever.
