Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. Yea and if I judge, my judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. Yea and in your law it is written, that the witness of two men is true." — John 8:15-17 (ASV)
Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said to them, He put clay upon my eyes, and I washed, and I see. Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he does not keep the Sabbath day.
Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them. They say to the blind man again, What do you say about him, that he has opened your eyes? He said, He is a prophet.
There was no mistake about that matter in the mind of the man whom he had healed; none but a prophet, mighty in word and deed, could have performed such a miracle as that.
