"Yea and if I judge, my judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me." — John 8:16 (ASV)

You see, brothers and sisters, how our Lord Jesus claimed to be God, for he put himself here in such a connection with God as would be quite inconsistent for any mere man. This is what Paul meant when he said that Christ thought it not robbery to be equal with God. He thought it not a prize to be grasped, for it was already his.
