Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"He said therefore again unto them, I go away, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sin: whither I go, ye cannot come." — John 8:21 (ASV)
Oh, what a terrible sentence that is! I pray that the Lord will never say that to any of us, Whither I go, ye cannot come. That would be the death-knell of all our hopes, and would make our life one long banishment.
Blessed be his name, we who have sought him, and have found him, know that; we will not die in our sins, and where he has gone, we will go also.
