"The Jews therefore said, Will he kill himself, that he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come? And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world." — John 8:22-23 (ASV)
Then the Jews said, Will he kill himself? because he says, Where I go, you cannot come. And he said to them, You are from beneath; I am from above:
You are of a groveling nature; your thoughts rise out of the abyss where every evil dwells.
