"The Jews therefore said unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?" — John 8:57 (ASV)

Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

Why, he was hardly thirty, but sorrow had made him appear old.
