SCRIPTURE

"And they said unto him, Where is he? He saith, I know not. They bring to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind. Now it was the sabbath on the day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes. Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. And he said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and I see." — John 9:12-15 (ASV)

Then they said to him, "Where is he?" He said, "I do not know."

They brought to the Pharisees him who formerly was blind. And it was the Sabbath day when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said to them, "He put clay upon my eyes, and I washed, and I see."

That was short and sweet; and when you have to deal with Pharisees, do not give them much. They are not worth it, and they are sure to misuse it. When he spoke to the common people, he elaborated and gave them details; but now that he comes to talk to these officious professors, he cuts it down to as few words as possible.
