"But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit," — Jude 1:20 (ASV)

Build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost!

He has told us about the one foundation, now he bids us build on it: Building up yourselves on your most holy faith.

Praying. That is the next thing; there is no preservation like that which is given by God in response to believing prayer.

Praying in the Holy Ghost. There is a kind of praying which is without the Holy Ghost, and it is not effective. There is a praying which is the breath of God in man, returning from where it came; this will keep us from falling, and bring us untold blessings.

But you, beloved, building-

Is this the way, then, to prevent our falling into sin? Yes. To prevent doing wrong, do right: You, beloved, building-doing good, substantial, solid work, building-
