Charles Spurgeon Commentary Judges 8:12

"And Zebah and Zalmunna fled; and he pursued after them; and he took the two kings of Midian, Zebah and Zalmunna, and discomfited all the host." — Judges 8:12 (ASV)

There was an end to the tyranny of the Midianites. Gideon killed great numbers of them, and drove away those who still remained alive.
