SCRIPTURE

"It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Jehovah. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth." — Lamentations 3:26-27 (ASV)

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

For this yoke, though it may seem to be very heavy for a time, when it has humbled us, and brought us to Christ, will bring us innumerable blessings.

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

And it is not bad for him if he keeps on bearing it in his old age.

Our shoulders ever need the yoke; we are such uncertain creatures that we cannot bear too much freedom, even from sorrow.
