Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"Surely against me he turneth his hand again and again all the day. My flesh and my skin hath he made old; he hath broken my bones. He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail." — Lamentations 3:3-5 (ASV)
Surely against me is he turned; he turns his hand against me all the day. My flesh and my skin, has he made old; he has broken my bones. He has built against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.
"I am like a besieged city that has strong forts built all round it to shut it in on all sides."
