SCRIPTURE

"And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath looked upon the low estate of his handmaid: For behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed." — Luke 1:47-48 (ASV)

And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from now on all generations shall call me blessed.

Some have done so to the grief of genuine Christians, for they have apostatized from the faith, and made Mary into a kind of goddess, and, therefore, Protestant Christians have gone to the other extreme, and have not always given to her the respect which is due to her.
