Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges." — Luke 11:19 (ASV)
And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore shall they be your judges.
For some of these men had sons, who either did really cast out devils, being disciples of Christ, or else professed to do so, being exorcists, pretending to a power they did not possess. In either case, the argument was good against the objectors.
