"But woe unto you Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and every herb, and pass over justice and the love of God: but these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone." — Luke 11:42 (ASV)

How many, in these days, are very meticulous and resolute about very minor matters, but very careless about important ones! They would not violate the law of their sect or party for anything in the world, but the law of God is of little importance to them.
