SCRIPTURE

"And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: and he reasoned within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have not where to bestow my fruits?" — Luke 12:16-17 (ASV)

And he spoke a parable to them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth, plentifully: and he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to store my fruits?

He did not inquire, "Where can I find a needy case in which I may use my surplus for charity?" Oh, no! "How can I hoard it?

How can I keep it all to myself?" This was a selfish, worldly man.
