SCRIPTURE

"But God said unto him, Thou foolish one, this night is thy soul required of thee; and the things which thou hast prepared, whose shall they be?" — Luke 12:20 (ASV)

But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

This may also be said to any one of you. Where would you be if the Lord said to you, This night thy soul shall be required of thee?

This night your soul shall be required of you:

I would like you to set that up as the counter picture to the one that we had this morning, Today you shall be with me in Paradise. That was said by Christ to the penitent thief, but to this impenitent rich man, God said, This night your soul shall be required of you.
