SCRIPTURE

"So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for [your] life, what ye shall eat; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on." — Luke 12:21-22 (ASV)

So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. And he said to his disciples, Therefore I say to you, Take no thought –

It really means, "Make it not a matter of anxious care. Take no inordinate thought" –
