"And this [is] the sign unto you: Ye shall find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, and lying in a manger." — Luke 2:12 (ASV)
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Not in marble halls, wrapped in purple and fine linen, and welcomed by the great and mighty of earth; rather, this greatest of all princes is born amid the poverty of our ordinary manhood. He is One chosen out of the people, the people's Saviour, and a manger receives the people's King.
