Charles Spurgeon Commentary Luke 21:16

"But ye shall be delivered up even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and [some] of you shall they cause to be put to death." — Luke 21:16 (ASV)

And you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

How true that has been many times! For how long a period the saints were martyred! And the days of martyrdom are not yet over.
