Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"And it came to pass, while they communed and questioned together, that Jesus himself drew near, and went with them." — Luke 24:15 (ASV)
And it came to pass that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
And, beloved, if you wish to have communion with Christ, have communion with one another. If my Lord will not reveal himself to me, perhaps he will reveal himself to others; therefore let me join the company of his chosen, and then, surely, when he appears in the midst of their assembly, I will have a share of the fellowship that they will enjoy.
