SCRIPTURE

"And he said unto them, What communications are these that ye have one with another, as ye walk? And they stood still, looking sad." — Luke 24:17 (ASV)

And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?

Christian people, why are you sad? It should not be so. And when you talk, why do you increase each other's sadness? Is that wisdom? Surely, the Master might say to some here present, "Why are you sad?" I hope that he will enable you to shake off the sadness, and to rejoice in him.
