SCRIPTURE

"and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day; and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem." — Luke 24:46-47 (ASV)

And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

This gospel message was to be proclaimed among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem, but not ending there. It has been preached to us; let us see to it that we pass it on to those who have never heard it yet.
