Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"And when they had brought their boats to land, they left all, and followed him. And it came to pass, while he was in one of the cities, behold, a man full of leprosy: and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean." — Luke 5:11-12 (ASV)
And when they had brought the ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him, and it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy:
That is a characteristic touch of Luke, who, as a physician, with a glance of his eye, took in the condition of the man, not as merely a leper, but as one full of leprosy.
