"But Jesus perceiving their reasonings, answered and said unto them, Why reason ye in your hearts?" — Luke 5:22 (ASV)

Saying, Who is this, which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, Why reason ye in your hearts?

See, Jesus can perceive thoughts. I have heard of "thought-reading." Here is a true specimen of it: Jesus perceived their thoughts, and said unto them, Why reason ye in your hearts?
