"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God." — Luke 8:11 (ASV)

Not the word of man. Do we have a word of God at all? My brothers and sisters, that is a question which we have to answer nowadays. Our fathers never questioned it; they believed in the infallibility of the Bible, as we do. But, now, all our wise men do not think so. They set to work to mend the Scriptures, to pick out of the Bible what they imagine to be inspired. Let us not do so, my brothers and sisters.
