Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"She hath done what she could; she hath anointed my body beforehand for the burying. And verily I say unto you, Wheresoever the gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, that also which this woman hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her." — Mark 14:8-9 (ASV)
And it is so to this day. Christ's gospel is preached tonight, and this woman's love will be remembered. John also speaks of this in John 12.
