And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take (Mark 15:24).

Christ's garments must go to His executioners in order to carry out the full shame associated with His death as well as to fulfill the prophecy, They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture (Psalms 22:18).
