Charles Spurgeon Commentary Mark 15:30

"save thyself, and come down from the cross." — Mark 15:30 (ASV)

Wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, Save thyself, and come down from the cross.

He never said he would destroy the literal temple. He did, however, say concerning the temple of his body, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up, and he did raise it up in three days after they had destroyed it.
