SCRIPTURE

"And he saith unto them, Be not amazed: ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who hath been crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold, the place where they laid him! But go, tell his disciples and Peter, He goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you." — Mark 16:6-7 (ASV)

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

Make sure, beloved, that you know the truth for yourselves, and then hasten to tell it to others. I urge you, do not run without knowing what your errand is; but I also urge you, when you have an errand for the Lord, do not delay, but, Go your way, tell his disciples. It was very thoughtful of this angel to say and Peter, thus linking with the disciples the name of him who had most glaringly transgressed and denied his Master.
