"And straightway the damsel rose up, and walked; for she was twelve years old. And they were amazed straightway with a great amazement." — Mark 5:42 (ASV)

The damsel arose, and walked;

Oh, that the Lord Jesus Christ would work some "straightway" miracles in our midst just now! He can do it if He pleases; before this service ends, there may be some who will have passed from death to life, out of the darkness of sin into the marvelous light of grace. Blessed be God for this; who will it be?
