And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them. And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.
Some traces of the glory on the mount still remained on his face, and the people were astounded. So, though deeply interested in the battle that was taking place between the scribes and the disciples, they left them and turned to look upon that mysterious radiance which lingered on his brow.
