Charles Spurgeon Commentary Matthew 15:15-16

"And Peter answered and said unto him, Declare unto us the parable. And he said, Are ye also even yet without understanding?" — Matthew 15:15-16 (ASV)

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

It was not a parable, it was a plain piece of simple language that the Saviour had uttered: not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
