SCRIPTURE

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." — Matthew 21:22 (ASV)

This gives us a grand checkbook on the Bank of Faith, which we may use freely. How wide are the terms, all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing! If we are enabled to pray the prayer of faith, we will gain the blessing, whatever it may be. This is not possible concerning things unpromised or things not according to the divine will.

Believing prayer is the shadow of the coming blessing. It is a gift from God, not a whim of the human will, nor a caprice of idle wishing. Believing, ye shall receive; but too often the believing is not there.
