Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"Then are there crucified with him two robbers, one on the right hand and one on the left. And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads," — Matthew 27:38-39 (ASV)
Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads.
Not only those who sat there, such as the scribes, and Pharisees, and soldiers, and those who hung there, the thieves who were crucified with him, but even the passers-by reviled him, indulging in a sneer.
