Charles Spurgeon Commentary Numbers 11:10

"And Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent: and the anger of Jehovah was kindled greatly; and Moses was displeased." — Numbers 11:10 (ASV)

And no wonder; meek man as he was, they vexed his gracious spirit by their perpetual murmurings. As we read this sad story, let us, as in a mirror, see ourselves; and let us deeply repent of our murmuring and complaining, and from now on sing –

"I will praise you every day!
Now your anger's turned away."
