Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in the staves thereof:" — Numbers 4:11 (ASV)
A type of the holiness veiled in our Lord's humanity, the badger skin revealed the simplicity, the poverty, the humility of our Lord, continually covering that wondrous cloth of blue.
