SCRIPTURE

"Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ: that, whether I come and see you and be absent, I may hear of your state, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving for the faith of the gospel;" — Philippians 1:27 (ASV)

The unity of the church is of the utmost importance. When there are pockets of brotherly love, the perfect bond is lost; and as a bundle of rods, when once the binding cord is cut, becomes merely a number of weak and single twigs, so it is with a divided church.

May we always be kept in one holy bond of perfect union with each other!
