Yea, and if He offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

If he might be poured out as a drink-offering on their behalf, or offered up as a whole burnt-offering in the service of the Saviour, he would be glad. He could not bear to have lived in vain; but to spend his life for the glory of his Lord would always be a joy to him.
