"Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." — Proverbs 27:17 (ASV)

For this reason, Christian association is useful, and for this reason also, sinful company is evil, for one sinner sharpens another to do evil, just as one saint encourages another to righteousness.
