Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"And his eyes [are] a flame of fire, and upon his head [are] many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself. And he [is] arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white [and] pure." — Revelation 19:12-14 (ASV)
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
All his true ones, all his faithful ones, all his saints, whether ministers or not, the heavenly armies, followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. Holiness is their armor, light is the panoply that they wear as they go forward to this holy war.
