Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"And Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I became manifest unto them that asked not of me. But as to Israel he saith, All the day long did I spread out my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people." — Romans 10:20-21 (ASV)
But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
God grant that we may not be disobedient and contradicting as Israel was, but that we may all accept Christ at once as our only and all-sufficient Saviour!
