Charles Spurgeon Commentary Romans 10:4-5

"For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby." — Romans 10:4-5 (ASV)

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

That is the righteousness of the law. We are not under that covenant now. We shall never attain to righteousness that way.
