Charles Spurgeon Commentary

Charles Spurgeon Commentary
"But now being made free from sin and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end eternal life." — Romans 6:22 (ASV)
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Oh, what wondrous changes the grace of God works! "But now." Paul must have rejoiced to write those two words. He had dwelt upon what men were before the Lord began to deal with them in mercy, "but now" he could say, "being made free from sin, and become servants to God, you have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life."
