1 Corinthians 1:13

SCRIPTURE

"Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul?" — 1 Corinthians 1:13 (ASV)

Paul quickly destroys the validity of such distinctions by insisting that Christians are all one in Christ. “Is Christ divided?” he asks. He shows the foolishness of even raising the question by asking two other questions that imply a negative answer: he, Paul, was not crucified for them, nor were they baptized in his name. The same could be said also of Apollos and Peter.
