Expositor's Bible Commentary Commentary 1 Corinthians 2:15

"But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and he himself is judged of no man." — 1 Corinthians 2:15 (ASV)

In contrast to the unregenerate, persons who are guided by the Spirit draw discerning conclusions about all kinds of spiritual things, but such spiritual people are not subject to spiritual judgments by those who are without the Spirit (v.14). Elsewhere Paul teaches Christians the appropriateness of making judgments concerning the spiritual condition and actions of other Christians (12:3; Galatians 1:8.)
