Expositor's Bible Commentary Commentary 1 Corinthians 6:14

"and God both raised the Lord, and will raise up as through his power." — 1 Corinthians 6:14 (ASV)

Paul goes on to state God’s interest in the Christian’s body. As God raised the body of Jesus from the tomb, so he will raise the bodies of his people from the grave through his power. The phrase “through the power of God” is probably to be taken with both parts of the sentence: the power of God was used to raise the Lord, and it will also be used to raise his people.
