"Nay, already it is altogether a defect in you, that ye have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather take wrong? why not rather be defrauded?" — 1 Corinthians 6:7 (ASV)
In climaxing his argument, Paul feels that the very existence of legal cases among the Corinthians shows a malicious attitude and spiritual failure. Instead of being involved in all these disputes and harming and cheating their fellow Christians, they should be willing to suffer wrong.
