Acts 22:10

SCRIPTURE

"And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do." — Acts 22:10 (ASV)

In response to the heavenly confrontation and as a good Jew who thought first in terms of how he should act in obedience to divine revelation, Paul’s question was “What shall I do, Lord?” He was told to go into Damascus, where the divine will would be revealed to him. So in his blindness he was led into Damascus by his companions to await instructions as to God’s purposes for him.
