"And touching at Syracuse, we tarried there three days." — Acts 28:12 (ASV)

Sailing north-northeast, the ship reached the harbor of Syracuse, on the east coast of Sicily. There it remained for three days, probably awaiting better wind conditions and loading and unloading cargo.
